Our Risk Management Program
Here at Snap-Pak we strive for the best, this is why we operate an RMP(Risk Management Program) under the Animal Products Act 1999. This means that we have been over every facet of our operation with a fine toothed comb, to identify any potential risks to product safety or quality. We have crafted a hazard analysis and identification process which we conduct constantly to assure there are never any risks to the consumer.
The process of obtaining RMP includes the surveying of our entire production line by a third party auditor on behalf of the NZFSA. Also, we are constantly performing our own checks to ensure we are in compliance with the RMP at all times.
We would urge customers to take caution when dealing with any company other than Snap-Pak, the single dose dispensing sachet system I invented in the early 90's in Christchurch, New Zealand at a great personal cost, both financially and in time .
We have realised that some dihonest businessmen are attempting to pass off my invention as their own. One of these is Craig Bakken of Smyth Group USA, who flew all the way to New Zealand to learn more about the systems and processes I had been developing and had patented. He has sold my patented invention to Tapemark, a very major player in the North American packaging industry, under the impression that he is the legal owner of my intellectual property.
Also Antonio and Christian Burattini of Easypack/Diapack Ltd, Italy, have taken my invention and passed it off as their own to multiple unsuspecting companies, with the intent of claiming my invention as his own. These dishonorable brothers also used unctuous pretences to obtain hundreds of sample Snap Paks, which we discovered Antonio Burratini was demonstrating as his own invention at an Emballage show in Paris.
Unfortunately, this is not even the full extent of their treacherous actions. Since then I have also found imitation patents filed in the USA and Japan, in direct infringment of my patent. Even worse, the patents have been licensed to companies who are planning to enter mass production of cheap imitations of my product, which denegrates the high quality which I ensure my clients. This would place them in a dangerous position legally, as I have the patent registered with the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) - and as such they would be liable for damages and loss of business.
Please see below for a letter sent to Diapack/Easypack to illustrate these facts and the danger companies are placing themselves in by undergoing production of a product in direct breach of international patent law.
We can help your business with our Snap-Pak system, which we have designed to be very profitable for both small and large businesses. Do not accept any imitation, we are the inventors and PCT patent holders for the Snap-Pak idea. We can set you up with machines and materials we have developed to produce our sachets, customised to suit your individual requirements. There are many oppurtunities here for all sizes of operation, from a husband and wife in the backyard garage to a corporate company! Full instruction and support is provided and we are always happy to discuss options on the phone or through email or fax. Head over to our Contact Us page and drop us a line !
